That Doh! Moment

Posted in The Job - General by 200

Eighteen-year-old thug, Jack Wilson, will be wondering just how wise it was to post his thoughts on Facebook when he got home from court.

He appeared at Newcastle Crown Court last month where he admitted beating up 43 & 50-year-old men.

As they all do, his brief expressed to the court his shame &  remorse. Doubtless there was, as there always is, reassurances that he had turned his life around that he had learned important lessons.

The case was adjourned for sentencing.

When Wilson got home from court he posted on Facebook: “No remorse, no surrender, 100 per cent re-offender

Judge Roger Thorn was shown the Facebook post at this week’s sentencing. He said: “If anyone ever asked to go to prison, this is the best way to do it. All claims of remorse evaporate as hypocrisy.

had there been remorse, it might have been possible to suspend the sentence. Twenty months.”
