Talking of Lower than Low

Whatever your feelings on the war in Afghanistan, there can be few people who don’t hold the people of Wooton Bassett in high regard. Every week the people of the town turn out to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers of the UK as their bodies are repatriated from abroad to their families.

One group whose ethical & moral standing is of a completely more, er, scummy nature is a bunch calling themselves Islam4UK. Their website describes them as: “A platform for the global front Al-Muhajiroun, Islam4UK has been established by sincere Muslims as a platform to propagate the supreme Islamic ideology within the United Kingdom as a divine alternative to man-made law.” Their aim, as described on their site is “to convince the British public about the superiority of Islam and expose the fallacies of man-made law, thereby changing public opinion in favour of Islam in order to transfer the authority and power (from those with authority and power) to the Muslims in order to implement the Sharee’ah (here in Britain).”

So, what have they done to bring them to the attention of yours truly? Well, it’s not what they have done, more what they are planning to do. I can do no better than to quote their press release, entitled “Wooton Bassett March”.

Islam4UK, a platform for the global front Al-Muhajiroun, would like to announce the launch of a momentous march that is scheduled to take place in the following weeks, details of which will be released shortly inshaa’allah (God willing).

The destination of this very special event is the small market town of Wootton Bassett, located 6 miles Southwest of Swindon, in northern Wiltshire; Wootton Bassett, is currently famous for its public mourning processions held in memory of British soldiers killed whilst on military service in Afghanistan; coffins containing the dismembered bodies of these soldiers are usually draped in union jack flags and driven through the town centre from RAF Lyneham, as a tribute to their ‘sacrifice’.

The proposed march by members of Islam4UK is however of a very different venture, held not in memory of the occupying and merciless British military, but rather the real war dead who have been shunned by the Western media and general public as they were and continue to be horrifically murdered in the name of Democracy and Freedom – the innocent Muslim men, women and children.

It is quite extraordinary, that with well over 100,000 Muslims killed in Afghanistan in the last 8 years that those military serviceman who have directly or indirectly contributed to their death are paraded as war heroes and moreover honoured for what is ultimately genocide.

We at Islam4UK find this totally unacceptable and as a result have decided to launch the ‘Wootton Bassett March’ to highlight the real casualties of this brutal Crusade.

If you would like more information about the ‘Wootton Bassett March’ or are Muslim and would like to take part in it please contact the following numbers:

I don’t have a problem that they don’t support the war in Afghanistan. I don’t even have a problem with them thinking British soldiers are murderers, after all, I spent 30 years defending their right to say such things, but it simply beggars belief that they intend to hold a demonstration in the heart of support for all those in the UK who do wish to pay tribute to the people who are dying in the service of their country.

The only comfort I can glean from this bunch of clowns is that they are an extremely minor & pathetically insignificant bunch of wasters, none of whom are fit to lick the shoes of those they seek to denograte.

Apparently, there’s a Facebook Group set up against this march (whatever a Facebook Group is) which is advising people to ring Wiltshire Police to register their disgust, so the Wiltshire Police control room might be a bit busier.
