A bit late for Christmas…
… but the message is relevant all year.
… but the message is relevant all year.
This vid is doing the rounds at the moment. I thought you guys might like a look…
You can read the story of the video on the Devon & Cornwall Police website.

Time for another road crash compilation….
This looks just like one of those computer games.
Thanks to regular reader, Boy-on-a-Bike, for this one.
I see it’s just not the UK that has to put up with arseholes on public transport.
Twenty-six year old Lukasz Wisniewski of Leeds has just been banned for 12 months and ordered to do 200 hours community service after pulling a wheelie on his motorbike as he drove past a mobile speed camera can in Selby, North Yorkshre, at 103mph, whilst overtaking other vehicles.
I bet he thinks what a great idea that was back in June. He was either incredibly unlucky to be pulling a wheelie at high speed at exactly the moment he passed a speed camera van, or just thick; it’s not as if speed cameras are highly disguised. Still, I expect he’s got plenty of time to consider his motorcycling prowess, as he sits on public buses for a the next year.
Gotta be a candidate in the World’s Dumbest Criminals competition…
I don’t normally peruse the website of the Sun, but I picked this one up on a link so0meone sent me in an email and thought it worth sharing.
Corporal Luke Tamata, 31, Lance Corporal Jacinda Baker, 26, and Private Richard Harris, 21, of the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment were killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. Two hundred soldiers of the 1st and 2nd battalions greeted the coffins when the dead soldiers were repatriated.
This is what happened.
On the 13th August this year Constable Brain Bachman, a 20-year-veteran of the Brazos County Constable’s Office, was sot and killed whilst serving an eviction notice.
The murderer continued to fire his weapon from his home killing a civilian and wounding another. Three other officers who responded to the initial call were injured before the murderer was shot and killed.
The following video was shot depicting Constable Bachman’s funeral procession.
You can see Constable Bachman’s entry in the Officer Down Memorial Page.
This guy, who was drunk, led police on a chase of speeds up to 100mph. The vehicle contained his wife and four young children.
This video shows just how quick things can go wrong.
An Arkansas officer was shot and killed during a stop last year, footage has just been released by the department. The offender has since been convicted and sentenced to death.
Just a quickie tonight as I’m watching wall-to-wall Olympics.
The following video of a police pursuit of a motorcycle which reached speeds of 150mph in Sweden. The motorcyclist has a female on the back of the bike during the pursuit. After a few minutes it manages to break free of the following unmarked police Saab, only to crash into a barrier.
The rider was killed, the passenger got away with minor injuries. (you don’t see the crash)
The footage is from Sweden.
…you just never know which one you might get.
The vid lasts around 3 minutes but nothing much happens after the first few seconds. Apparently it was around 4.45 in the morning in Norwich. I guess working a night shift in east Anglia is enough to send anyone to sleep.
