Such Fun

Posted in The Job - General by 200

It must have seemed like such a fantastic idea to raise a titter on stage when ‘comedian’ Russell Brand, decided to make a hoax call to Northamptonshire Police live on stage during his act.

The wag borrowed a mobile phone from a member of the audience & dialled a police call centre to report that he had information regarding a series of sexual assaults in the area which had recently been publicised in a local newspaper. He then proceeded to take the piss for three minutes during which the audience roared with laughter.

Of course he has issued the obligatory apology, probably after someone pointed out to the thick twat that making hoax calls to the police isn’t such a good idea.

Can he not be charged with wasting Police time? I thought making hoax calls was rather naughty… even on non-emergency lines…

The decision to prosecute this fu**wit will depend whether ACPO can tear themselves away from trying to prosecute so called celebs for anecodotal footage of drug taking (as an example to set against our our apparently pliable and impressive youth)and take fake calls to Emergency services seriously. This idiots improv seriously pi**ed me off. There are a number of possible offences involved in this wasters act.Whether it will catch the eye of those in charge of ACPOS’s latest thing remains to be seen.

Northamptonshite (is that a typo?) Police will almost certainly ignore this incident placing it firmly in the too difficult to deal with box. Now on the other hand if it had been a furry childrens puppet who had made a comment about gipsy’s selling pegs they’d have been there in a flash!

The next time this cretin is on stage, can someone please phone the Police and report a pecuniary advantage by deception – someone claiming to be a comedian and taking the public’s money. If he’s funny then Ronnie Wood has just joined the Temperance Society!

I’ve never heard of any of my colleagues gettinga “Wasting Police Time” or “Perverting the Course of Justice” through the CPS. Brand could still have an £80 PND though surley?

I love a good laugh and usually laugh at most things on telly, except the mighty boosh, but I really can’t stand Russel Bland. I would love to kick seven shades of smug shit out of him. Twat.
