Not more?

Just when you thought you’d heard the last of the disgraced little shite, former met Commander & all-round system-player & bully, Ali Dizaei makes the√ā¬†news√ā¬†again.

Dizaei was jailed for four years for corruption√ā¬†after√ā¬†assaulting & attempting to frame an innocent man following the man’s attempt to get Dizaei to stump up √ā¬£600 for work he had done on Dizaei’s self-promoting website.

Following his conviction the prosecution has applied for costs. The prosecution felt there were grounds for Dizaei to cough up the √ā¬£64,000 for their costs in the four week trial. Dizaei was on a salary of √ā¬£90,000 a year & thought to possess all or a share in 3 homes worth around √ā¬£1million.

Despite this, the court heard from his legal team (which included Michael Mansfield, who can charge up to √ā¬£2,000 a day) that he was virtually penniless & could not afford to pay any√ā¬†prosecutions√ā¬†costs.

The court judged that he should pay a pitiful √ā¬£750, and gave him four months to pay.

It seems that someone who has built a career on shafting people has been able to do it once again.

He didn`t invent the system, he just plays it. But have you ever known as system as warped as ours? On balance I`m happy that our legal system is envied around the world. I`d rather what we`ve got than summary hangings/shootings in the street. But the system we have is way far from perfect, and heading in the wrong direction.

Dizaei just seems to be a bad egg, liable to slowly poison any employer he ends up working for. Now, how do you find a legit excuse not to employ someone who is always ‘innocent’ but always at the heart of any trouble that crops up, without being accused of racism?

You can`t even demand they are ‘hard-working’ on the job advert any more.

He’s not stopped his games – he’s currently sueing HMP (doubtless funded by the taxpayer) as he’s not been properly protected inside because someone emptied a slop bucket over him (give that man a medal for irony! and he had a fight with his cellmate (given Ali D’s propensity for a punch up I wonder who kicked it off?). Doubtless an infingement of his ‘uman rights, racial prejudice, institutional or otherwise, etc. etc.

However, as civ-in-the-city said he’s just playing the system. The problem we have is there are too many parasites with a vested career interest in feeding the system rather than reforming it.

Why not revoke his British citizenship and deport him to Iran? I think he still has Iranian citizenship and I suspect they’d love to have him back…
