    Great job all round.If only the shower of wasters that are the management in the main control room for the PSNI and your own by the sound of things were as understanding and appreciative as this programme it would make the job easier.
    I think the PSNI have been reading this BLOG in order to put into practice,how not to run a control room.

    Good to see an arrest made with everybody going home in one piece afterwards. You can also bet that the officers involved weren’t swamped with paperwork for the next 6 hours following the arrest.

    Certainly within the area I now inhabit, the police are allowed to actually do their jobs. Being an ex pat, this was one of the things that surprised me about life out here (certainly in Southwestern Pennsylvania) – In small towns, you can speak face to face with the Chief if you happen to catch him in the office (he actually goes out and patrols in our town) but if things get rough, the response matches the situation all the way up to a matte black armoured car with SWAT painted on the side that could be here in 5 minutes or less from the City.
