Two groups of people arrived back home to the UK today.

One of them sneaked back into the country without fanfare, hiding from the crowds. The other was driven through the crowds.

Only one of them can possibly be described as heroes.

In the same week as these 7 servicemen where either shot to death, or drowned in an armoured vehicle, Wayne Rooney was bitching about getting booed!!!!!
If footballers LOVE the game so much pay them minimum wage -they’ll still play!

Actually thinking about this situation, I feel that it was in pretty poor taste for the football team to come in on the same day as a ‘plane load of real heros!

With you all the way. Utmost respect also to the people of Wooton Bassett who turn out every time to pay tribute to the real heroes.

Doing the rounds on face book

“Planes landed in England today. One brought back a group of overpaid,
underachieving footballers. The other brought back seven coffins, each
with the Union Jack draped over them. Footballers play for our country,
soldiers FIGHT for our country. Footballers give ninety minutes,
soldiers give their lives. I know who I respect. R.I.P. Our Brave
