National honour is gone but there was a time when falling from such heights demanded a landing on one’s sword or going down with the ship.

Don’t knock it, mate. With any luck at all, this may be just the beginning!

It’s not the beginning. These are the scapegoats—they’re from well down the pecking order and are clearly not the most clued up MPs. All that’s happened is that the rest of them have pushed a sacrificial handful over the edge to see if that will satisfy the sharks waiting below.

I am afraid that Stonehead is right. These are the sacrificial scapegoats. They will bleat loudly and longly to attract lots of meeja attention. There may even be further ‘revelations’ about these four to sex it up a bit. However, all the rest of the thieving scum of westminster will be ducking low behind the parapets.

In a couple of years time, they will all be in quiet, comfortable, retirement as the fuss will have blown over, and crime is shown to pay.

    Get a grip!

    Nothing’s going to happen.

And, deep down, we all know it!
