There are currently 2.3 billion 20p coins in circulation. More chance of winning the lottery.

I also have a pristine Jack Nicklaus five pound note. Is it wrong to wish someone dead ?

A conspiracy theory is that it was done deliberately a way of increasing the money supply in a recession.
Too much actual money in circulation can alter the actual worth of our money abroad, but if suddenly a few thousand 20p pieces are worth £50 each…..
If this works, they will try it again.

Checked all of ours and …. none! Typical. I do have a fine, uncrushed sample of the Jack Nicklaus fiver which I’m hoping will be worth a bit in the future.
