I’ve nicked a few people for TADA/TWOC/Stealing a car before, but I don’t recall arresting anyone like this…

I’m assuming the car was an automatic, but still – how would he have been able to accelerate when he was standing on the seat? And how nice was that police officer?! Then again, I guess you can’t really take an aggressive stance on the situation, he is only 5!

That’s about the first Yank traffic stop I’ve seen without guns pulled and “GET OUT OF THE CAR, NOW! ON THE FLOOR” etc. Some clearly good driving by the kid and some good police work too!
PS. Petrolhead, you’d be surprised how fast some of these yank-tanks will go at idle revs – they’re geared quite tall and some engines idle at over 1000rpm… (look out for vids of people getting out of the driver’s seat but leaving it in D…
