PoliceOne Bloggers
Just a little bit of blogging news today.
I’m pleased to be listed at PoliceOne.com as one of their recommended blogs. I’ve been listed on there for a couple of weeks, so welcome if you are visiting as a result of a link at PoliceOne. This is a USA Police portal whose content I regularly use via their BluTube Police Video site. I’ve added links to them.
I just loved this cartoon in today’s Telegraph, which just sums up the double standards exhibited in parliament yesterday.

Not just the MPs, Mr Weeks; it seems some MPS employees have been a tad enthusiastic when exercising their corporate credit cards.
Perhaps there’s something in the capital’s water supply.

There must be a book ! with your blog and 30 years experience as a police officer in the offing.
I sent a comment re malasi, obviously out of bounds, so aplogies for that one.

AT,
don’t know about a book, my memory is too shot to be of much use in recalling stuff.
I’ve not deleted any posts from you, someone said a couple of weeks ago that their posts disappeared, it seems they upset the spam filter for a reason I didn’t really understand, was your post published but now disappeared? Feel free to re-add it.
I don’t delete posts unless they are particularly extreme (think I’ve only deleted 2 or 3 in 4 years)

NonPC,
give me, as they say, news, not history, that story is quite old. But maybe there is something about London.

No worries, it’s the first comment that has gone awol and I didn’t take it personally. Perhaps the spam filter gets rid of crass comments, which mine probably was.
As regards a book, PNB’s ? may help your memory, you joined when police officers didnt have stab vest’s, CS gas, etc.
Most books, by recent bloggers say how modern policing is F**ked.
Was it always that way?, what has changed? Good- Bad- What has gone pear shaped, etc. That is why I suggested a book with all the press comments on your blog would be beneficial , there are not too many who have completed 30 years.
A different angle.
Keep smiling
