The Money Shot

Posted in Other Stuff by 200

Another day another government expences fiasco.

This time Home Secretary, Jacqui Spliff, has been caught up in an expenses fiddle, I mean, error. Not content with claiming £100,000 for a free second home, she’s been caught out claiming for stuff not related to her parliamentary dealings. The question is over her virgin status, or should that be Virgin status.

She’s been claiming for porn films on her Virgin TV package. The government are worried that electronic scans of all their receipts for claims of free cash have somehow found their way out of the Houses of Parliament & onto the pages of a Sunday Newspaper. This is causing great distress to many MPs who must fear their dodgy claims will be made public.

In the case of Ms Spliff, she was reimbursed for someone watching two adult films on her Virgin TV package. Step forward her husband, who issued a public apology on TV today. I have some sympathy with him, to be honest. If I was married to the Spliff, I’d be watching as much porn as possible!

Personally, as MPs didn’t bleat about the BNP list being put into the public domain, nor about the way the police sifted the document to find those who may have broken the rules, they can’t complain if their expenses are published & we all see what they’ve been spending our money on. It may even be appropriate for to expect the sacking of people who do things completely immoral, such as being a member of a legal political party or claiming for TV entertainment or for a second house just 11 miles away from their first house; what’s good for the goose & all that.

It’s public money; how it’s spent should be open to scrutiny by the electorate. Anything else is just Soviet.

Seeing her husband make his apology outside the family home was just like watching the sketches on Little Britain. I’m suprised he didn’t roll out the kids as well. It’s so funny watching these “high and mighty” people squirming. No doubt there will be loads more MPs sqirming. Why hasn’t anyone been arrested?

If Ms Spliff is that slack in signing documents regarding expenses that she obviously hasn’t read through- payment to an ADULT channel should ring some bells!!, what extent does the home secretary verify documents of an official nature which are far more important to the populus than what her husband gets up to at the “Family home” while she is resident at her “main home” claiming expenses there aswell

how is this different from benefit fraud?

personally, McNulty, Harry Cohen and J Smith should face a criminal investigation because they’ve been receiving money by deliberate, calculated deception.

As to J Smith not realising she’d signed up to TV as well as internet, pull the other one. Either she’s a liar (with incredible contempt) or an idiot – I want neither as home secretary.
